Looking back (Monday 12th August 2002)
Yet from Siberia, I promised (rather rashly) to write more about people we had met and our common experiences than I managed to type in Taiga. So, here is a little bit comprehensive article, and other will follow later on.

What comes next?
After we returned we let to analyze DNA of all the three Siberian storks. The first two storks are males while the third one is female. We named them Petr, Roman and Katerina from distance.
Which way are they going to fly? Will they turn away from Himalayas the same way the European turned from Mediterranean Sea? How quickly will they reach their winterizing places? Will they winterize in India, China or even in Africa? Will anybody or anything endanger them on their way? All this we should know soon...
