Katerina surrounded by mountains four thousand meters high (Tuesday 1st October 2002)

Ketrina continued on her way. She headed herself straight between Tan-San peaks. First she reached 180 km southwest and then about 60 km straight to south. It was among high mountains on the Kyrgyz-china boundary... She gave us a big surprise during current watching the Siberian storks when she easily trumped even Roman's record of daily reached distance. It seems that REALLY HIGH mountains mean nothing to Katerina.
Just for illustration: the temperature of her transmitter, which she's wearing on her body, fell to 4,5 degree of Celsius this morning.
