Troubles with mountains (Monday 25th November 2002)

25. listopad 2002

Katerina went on her way even the last few days as well. In contrast with the situation we described on Friday, she has flown over 250 kilometers mostly southsouthward. She stayed at the border of Tarim basin (of Taklamakan desert as well) on Friday evening - and the Kunlun and Karakoram mountains were ahead of her. Will she dare to fly over them? And is there a chance to do so? This morning proved that the first answer (and most probably even the second one) is "no". Katerina changed her course northeast during the weekend...

In fact, we know nothing about Petr and the recent part of his journey shown in maps shouldn't be taken seriously. His satellite locations are very low quality - he's just somewhere in Afghanistan. More, the movement sensors could show that something happened to Petr. There are serious reasons to worry...

Roman advanced westward in Turkmenistan and now is in places where he was in October. We may repeat it again what we wrote about - he's probably in winter grounds.
