Short flights? (Friday 1st November 2002)

At the very end of October, a slight move of two storks ? Katerina and Roman ? occured. Katerina left the meliorated area at the boundary of Takla Makan desert in the northwest China after 4 weeks. She flew more than 50 km southeastward and Roman on the contrary flew several tens kilometers in the east Turkmenistan eastward to Afghanistan.
