Petr on his way again (Monday 23th September 2002)

23. září 2002

At the same time I reported in Dobre jitro program that all three storks were having a break, satellites received signals of Peter’s transmitter – he resided 270 kilometers west-southwest from his stop near the Sarys River where he’d spent 10 days. And before I completed the up-to-date map, he covered another 80 kilometers in the same direction.

Petr buried our speculations that he could fly north round the Caspian Sea and join the pontic path. However, the idea that he could fly to Africa across the Arabic peninsula is still possible. Still.

Roman and Katerina stayed this morning still on their stops in Turkmenistan, or rather in the Southeast Kazakhstan.
