Eduard Dřízga (15 March 1944, Bartovice u Ostravy, 3 June 2017, Ostrava) was a Czech composer and pianist. He studied piano with Josef Kysela at the Ostrava Conservatory. In 1968 he graduated in composition from the Academy of Performing Arts under Václav Dobiáš. For 15 years he worked as a teacher at the Ostrava Conservatory, also as a director and music editor of the Ostrava Radio. As a pianist he often played his own compositions publically, i.a. at the Prague Spring Festival.
His compositions have won prizes in national competitions. Many of his compositions have been performed abroad. His Partita for flute and piano, for example, was successfully performed at Carnegie Hall in New York. The Little Suite has been performed in many European countries by the Leoš Janáček Chamber Orchestra.
Dřízga wrote three symphonies, the cantata Mala mulier, Variazioni per archi and
a number of chamber works (two sonatas and two partitas). Of his song cycles, Love Sonnets have gained the greatest acclaim, the culminating work being the extensive collection of songs Love and Death to folk texts.
