Iristu in India (Monday, 27th October 2003)

The male Iristu is in the winter grounds area in India! The Siberian "backpacked" stork has flown there luckily at last... Also the female Altynai effectively approaches towards winter grounds;she is staying at the borderline of Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan. The very difficult journey across Afghanistan is still ahead of her.
