Before the desert flyover (Thursday 6th, November 2003)

In the map, Iristu's flyover from October 26 is marked with blue, red is Altynai yesterday's flight. Altynai slowed down (she flew over 150 kilometres only) and stopped near the area colored green in the map which is caused by Indus' affluents. It looks like a more logic strategy - stop before the desert in the places where there's a lot of food and even some trees for passing the night. If I was to guess I would suggest that she'll fly at least 400 kilometres today and stops perhaps down in the northern Gujarat. But we all know how guessing usually ends...
