Barkhtai, Mongolia (Gatsa and Ulaan Baatar, Thursday July 22, 2004)

Barkhtai means "see you later". The time of our stay here in Mongolia counts in hours more than days now. Khalil made a great full-stop ending our expedition when he took pictures and a video of our first Mongolian stork during yesterday and today from the shelter by the nest. We trapped it and marked with transmitters right two weeks ago and now we have got a name prepared for it - Chingis - if the analysis proves that it's a male.
