Altynai is flying on southward (Monday, October 18 2004)

After a month and half, Altynai left her stop in southern Kazakhstan yesterday and started to fly southward. By the look at her current trace, one could seem to think she is flying to Africa; anyway, there is no doubt she will fly to India again.
The Mongolian storks Chingiz and Tuya are together near the Yellow river in China. The word "together" should be taken as a light hyperbole. Chingiz and Tuya come from different nests and probably have nothing in common (who knows, however - we did not examine whether, by a huge accident, they are, for instance, relatives) and the satellites show they are 15 kilometers distant from each other.
